So, I am a pretty ambitious person when it comes to things I’m passionate about. For example, being pagan, I love it, and spiritually it fits perfectly into my life. I also love writing. Do you know what I love more than writing? Human Rights for Nonbinary People.

I don’t know about you, but if you’re a nonbinary person reading this I want to lament with you that I, as a nonbinary person too, don’t want to wait until I’m 70 to have people respect my human rights. To not berate my identity and to acknowledge me as a person. That would be nice, don’t you think?

I am already exasperated of constantly explaining my existence and having to defend it at every waking moment. It’s so exhausting. This got me thinking hey, maybe I should join a queer nonprofit. However, while many nonprofits like The Trevor Project and Queer Youth Liberation are trying their best to uplift and support Nonbinary folks as well as Trans folks, I don’t believe that they go far enough. I feel that we should be in the public’s face about it, showing people’s stories through social media and other means. Proving that those of every age can be nonbinary. It isn’t an ‘agenda’ it’s a human rights campaign.
