But Dinosaur Nuggets are so good…

Recently, I have been going through some nutrient deficiency problems with my doctor. B12, B6, Iron, Magnesium, Omega-3 and more have been contributing to neuropathy in my hands and feet, as well as fatigue and made -easy tendonitis in my muscles.

Does this have to do with my diet?

I don’t know. I do know that I don’t eat as healthy as I could.

When I was younger my family was a big stickler for comfort food. Chicken strips, meatloaf, mac and cheese, various other pastas, and one of my favorite, mozzarella sticks. Add on that in the last year I realized I am lactose intolerant, but I haven’t changed my diet all that much since high school.

When we go grocery shopping, we typically do it all in one go at a big and cheap supermarket. Which is ironic because my fiance and I both work at natural food stores. Sure we tend to get a lot of our meat and produce at our work, but places like whole foods don’t necessarily have cheap versions of anything else, and even with our 20% discounts, we like saving money.

Our meats usually consist of pork chops, ham, ground turkey, or meatballs, and our most bought vegetables are green peppers, zucchini squash, and carrots. However, we are weak to the pull of bagged, heat up in our toaster…
