If you Voted for Trump, I hate you. I really, really do.

But my hate is different from your hate.

I hate you, but I still want good things for you.

I hate you because you didn’t think for one second before voting about anyone but yourself. You couldn’t care less for anyone but yourself.

I hate you because you’re now regretting your vote, or you’re realizing that your family members who are trans or disabled or Black or Hispanic, or just women, had so much riding on this wanna-be dictator not getting elected again. Yet you didn’t notice their plight until they cut you off.

I hate you because it isn’t fair that the election is ‘stolen’ when we win but ‘fair’ when you win. That’s not collusion, it’s delusion.

I hate you because you’re apparently against children having full bellies. Women having enough money to support themselves and enough rights to choose for themselves what to do with their own fucking bodies.

I hate you because you would rather have a world where I, a trans and disabled person doesn’t exist, than pay a little more for milk.

I hate you. But.

I still want to see you thrive.

I want to see you get everything you deserve in social security. To feel secure. Because you paid into it and deserve it.

I want to see your family thrive and your children and grandchildren not go hungry.
